Club Plus Gymnasium
The Club Plus Gymnasium is open from 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 10.00pm Saturdays and Sundays. Off Peak times are from 7.00am to 4pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday, all other gymnasium opening times are considered Peak.
The gymnasium is fully air conditioned and equipped with the latest Cybex cardio vascular equipment and Life Fitness weight training resistance equipment. The gymnasium has four large TV screens, allowing members to watch popular channels and a cardio theatre system where members can listen to popular radio channels. Please note that members will be required to bring their own headphones.
Fully qualified, friendly instructors are available to provide members advice and guidance with all aspects of fitness and exercise training. Gym challenges are frequently featured as an additional service. Personal Training sessions are available from our qualified instructors.
On joining the club, a new member who wishes to use the gymnasium must have completed a "Lifestyle and Health Questionnaire". Also it will be necessary to undergo an induction where an instructor will ensure that new members use the equipment in a safe and correct manner. A specific, tailored programme can then be provided.

Code of Conduct
- The gymnasium is for members only; no guests permitted.
- No member may use the gym without first having completed the "Lifestyle and Health Questionnaire" and having completed an induction.
- The minimum permitted age for gym use is sixteen.
- Members must be suitably attired when using the gym.
- Machines must be wiped down after use.
- Members must utilise the gym equipment provided in a safe and responsible manner.
- All coats and bags must be left in the lockers provided and are not to be taken into the gym.
Racket Sports
Tennis
The club has seven external tennis courts. Members can play recreational tennis by booking courts seven days in advance. The current charge per member per court is £1.50. Additionally, both adult and junior tennis coaching is available via the club's coach, Mike Costa. The coaching takes place during school holidays or on particular days during term-time. Squash
The club has two squash courts. Members can book courts seven days in advance. There is a league system in place with ten divisions of five players each and the club regularly plays league squash against other clubs. An annual squash tournament is held in December with trophies available for the winners of both the main tournament and the plate. New members are encouraged to join the 'Partners Wanted' notice board. Finally, the current charge per member per court is £1.50 and tokens to activate the lights are available from reception.
Snooker
There are two snooker tables and members can book up to seven days in advance. The current table hire is £1.50 per member per table. Tokens are available from reception. The club also has two teams that play other clubs in local leagues.
Bar Billiards
The club has one bar billiards table available for use. Children under 14 years of age may only use the bar billiards table when accompanied by an Adult (18+).
Pool
The club has one pool table situated in the main pavilion area. There is no requirement to book the pool table in advance as its use is on a 'first come first use' basis. Children under 14 years of age may only use the Pool Table when accompanied by an Adult (18+)
Rifle Range
The club has a rifle range and an active section engaged in practice sessions and competitions. Further details are available from the section Secretary whose details appear under 'Sections' included in this website. It will be necessary for all new members to apply to join the rifle section as appropriate checks will need to be conducted.
Sports Hall
The club offers a multi purpose sports hall with the following activities available; badminton, indoor football, basketball, indoor tennis, cricket nets, netball, hockey etc. Currently, the facility charge for the above is £1.50 per member per hour hire. Again a number of club sections regularly hire the sports hall for a variety of activities, including both casual training use and competitions and leagues. Full details regarding the individual sections are highlighted under 'Sections'.
Grass Playing Pitches
The following quality sports pitches are available at the club; x 2 football pitches, x 1 rugby pitch, x 1 hockey pitch and x 1 cricket square. The club currently has four football teams, one rugby and one hockey team. The pitches are regularly made available to the relevant section and details appear under 'Sections'.
CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA
The Holbrook Club prides itself on being a family orientated and friendly club and we offer a comprehensive children's play area which features some exciting equipment for children to play with. Please note that parent supervision is required at all times when this facility is being utilised. There is no charge for use of the children's play area.
