Rugby in Horsham
Welcome to Holbrook RFC – Your Local Club Since 1971
Based in Horsham, West Sussex, Holbrook Rugby Football Club has a proud history rooted in community and passion for the game. Originally formed in 1971 as Royal Sun Alliance RFC, the club formally became Holbrook RFC in 2000 when we joined forces with Holbrook Sports and Social Club – a partnership that continues to this day.
Holbrook RFC has always prided itself on determination, sportsmanship, and camaraderie both on and off the pitch. In recent years, we’ve made great strides – finishing runners-up in the Counties 3 Harvey Brewer League in 2023, narrowly missing the top spot on our final home game. In 2024, we celebrated an incredible moment in the club’s history by lifting the Junior Salver Cup at Worthing RFC – our first silverware in 15 years. A truly unforgettable day for everyone involved.
Leading us into the 2025/26 season is our newly appointed captain, Derrick Forster. Derrick has been a loyal and consistently outstanding player at Holbrook for over 7 years, and we’re proud to see him take on this well-deserved leadership role. His commitment to the team and welcoming nature make him a true clubman.
