The Holbrook Club has teamed up with local brewery King Beer to sponsor our first ever Beer Festival – and may it be the first of many!
Not only will there be 5 different beers from King Beer, ranging from 3.8ABV to 5.2ABV, we shall also be host to 10 other local breweries! Plenty of variety for you to try and buy. Plus, for the foodies amongst you we have local food producers and suppliers ranging from fish to cheese to cakes to sausages! And, if beer is not your thing, we have local wine wholesalers who will be happy to let you sample their delicious wine.
That’s the food and beverage taken care of, but what else will be on offer?….
…..We shall be showing the live Six Nations Rugby on our Big Screen, the perfect accompaniment to raise the atmosphere at any beer festival! AND, King Beer shall be running a fantastic competition for you, yes YOU, to name their Football World Cup beer. So get your thinking caps on in advance and think of a clever or funny or witty name for a football lovers beer ready for you (or a friend) to enter into the competition.
Oh, and did I mention the Morris Dancers? As a warm-up event to our Beer Festival, on the evening of Friday 14th March we shall be host to FOUR Morris Dancing Troops which will be a spectacular and memorable experience in our Pavilion Hall.
