Exciting News!!!

Following the changes in restrictions from  Monday 12th April 2021 we are pleased to announce the availability of EVEN MORE of the facilities at The Holbrook Club.  Listed below are the areas ready now or will be ready over the next few days.  All bookings can be made online via www.theholbrookclub.co.uk

BAR – online bookings are now available beginning Friday 16th April 2021 5.00pm to 7.00pm, Saturday 17th April  1.00pm – 5.00pm and Sunday 18th April 1.00pm to 5.00pm – we have limited opening times to start with and these will be reviewed each week.  The weather is looking fine at the moment however we would encourage you to wrap up warm just in case it’s chilly as this will be an outside service only.  Please be aware that we will be offering a reduced bar list for the initial opening and this will be added to as we have more visitors.

GYM – online bookings are now available and the gym will be opening again 12th April 2021 at 7:00am

3G PITCHES – online bookings are available now

YOURZONE45 – online bookings are available now – this will run as an Open Gym with dedicated individual training areas – the sessions will not be instructor led until 17th May 2021.1

BADMINTON, SNOOKER, SQUASH AND TABLE TENNIS
These indoor sport facilities will be for members of the same household and support bubbles only – online bookings will become available over the next couple of days for bookings to start Monday 19th April 2021

Fitness Classes – we will welcome back Fitness Classes on Monday 17th May 2021 with online bookings available from 10th May 2021.

We ask that you observe the government guidelines at all times in addition to any pre-agreed club rules, these are NOT negotiable.  Failure to do so could result in the sport booking option being removed. Rules are displayed within each area of the club.  At the end of this e-mail you will find details of bookings rules and further information.

ALL bookings must be made and paid ONLINE prior to your arrival. Remember, all membership numbers are prefixed with THC, eg, if your membership card shows 12345 you will need to enter THC12345 when setting up your account – email mandy.martin@theholbrookclub.co.uk if you are having any issues.  Our fitness team will be returning and they will be taking care of you while you are on site.  Our office staff are still partly furloughed but e-mails are checked regularly.  You will notice we have a slightly reduced timetable over the next couple of weeks but this will be reviewed weekly and amended accordingly, we must ensure we use our staff levels to the best we can while being mindful of any downtime.

MEMBERSHIP FEES – Membership fees will be collected on or shortly after 28th April 2021 for May 2021 membership fees and will continue each month going forward unless otherwise advised.

We are still uncertain of the coming weeks and it may be necessary to make further changes, we will do all we can to minimise the impact of these.  Please be respectful to staff at all times, we are doing everything we can within the restrictions set to provide as many facilities for you in the safest way possible.  The team have worked tirelessly over the last few days getting everything ready to welcome you back so please do book a visit, we are looking forward to seeing you all again.

NHS track and trace posters are displayed around the club. You can download the NHS track and trace app and scan the poster as you enter to register your visit.  If you do not use the app you will be asked to complete one of our track and trace forms.

Arrive in fitness ready clothing for your session as showers and changing rooms will not be available.

Sport Bookings

  • Indoor sport bookings such as Squash, Badminton, Snooker and Table Tennis are only available at the moment for Same Households and Support bubbles and Under 18’s organised activities
  • Remember to bring a bottle of water with you, water fountains will not be available
  • Do not arrive too early for your session as you may be asked to wait
  • Social distancing must be adhered to at all times
  • Please be considerate to others
  • If you arrive without having made an online booking you will not be able to attend
  • If you arrive late for your booking you will not be able to attend
  • Air conditioning will not be available, all possible doors and windows will be open to ensure air flow
  • Staff will be wearing face masks/face shields – however while exercising you do not need to wear face covering – this is optional
  • Entry will be via the large gates to the side of the building from the car park.  You must ensure a staff member is aware of your arrival by first reporting to the gym.

Gym Sessions

  • Each gym session has a maximum capacity of 16 and each session duration is now 60 minutes
  • You will need to have booked into the Gym online
  • You will be able to free-flow between the gyms however you must ensure safe distancing at all times
  • Always wear clean fitness clothing and bring a clean sweat towel with you for each visit
  • Entrance will be via the side gate from the car park
  • If you arrive too early you will be asked to wait at a safe distance
  • We still have 2 gyms –  the Cardio Gym is on the left as you enter the building and the Weights Gym is on the right
  • Please sanitise your hands as you enter the building
  • All equipment is at least 1m+ safely distanced
  • After you use each piece of equipment you will need to sanitise it using the spray bottles from the sanitation station in the room – blue towel will be disposed of by staff
  • A member of staff will be available at all times should you need any assistance
  • At the end of the session you will need to exit via the Fire Exit to avoid any congestion with the next session
  • Cleaning schedules have been increased

YourZone45 Open Gym Sessions

  • You will need to have booked online for a YourZone45 open gym session – if you do not have YourZone45 membership you will not be able to attend
  • Always wear clean fitness clothing and bring a clean sweat towel with you for each visit
  • For sessions in the YourZone45 studio there are 2 car parking bays designated by the entrance, you will need to stand at the corners of each bay and wait for the instructor to invite you in
  • Please sanitise your hands as you enter the building
  • There are 8 numbered stations, you will be allocated a number upon arrival
  • All equipment is at least 1m+ safely distanced
  • After you use each piece of equipment you will need to sanitise it using the spray bottles from the sanitation station in the room – blue towel will be disposed of by staff
  • A member of staff will be available at all times should you need any assistance
  • At the end of the session you will need to exit via the Fire Exit to avoid any congestion with the next session
  • Cleaning schedules have been increased
